I haven't had the time to keep this blog updated on the comic progress. There's been just too much work for me to take care of, making poses, photoshopping and the comic creation itself. I was busy about 15 hours every day and really lacked the time to write something here.
However, I'm finally close to finishing the last poses that I want to do and the comic is also well along the way. 163 pages are made so far with about 60 % of dialogues. It's mostly the smut talking missing and the comic noises.
I had to cut my work short by removing one short story from the to do list. Not only because I haven't had the slightest idea what to do with said story but also because I was sick for two weeks and couldn't work on this WiP, then.
Anyway, here's what I have so far:
Picnic - 25 pages, 90 % of dialogues done
Playtime - 55 pages, 75 % of dialogues done
Say Please - 36 pages, 15 % of dialogues done
Pool Play - 47 pages, 75 % of dialogues done
Painting 101 -100 % poses, 50 % photoshopping
Epilogue - 100 % poses,
I have 16 days left to finish the comic and, by the looks of it, I'm definitely going to make it in my self-given timeframe.
A'righty, and now a sneak peek at what to expect with this comic:
story no 3 - Say Please
Sarah and Markus are married (since 2041, the comic takes place about 8 - 10 years later) and they're deeply in love. Their relationship is very tender and loving and I wanted to show that with how they interact with each other.
I also wanted to show Markus' hobbies and that he still likes the same things as he did in the game. He was reading a book and painting in "The Painter" (my first D:BH comic) and now, I wanted to show him at the piano, playing a song he's composing and hasn't finished quite yet. (Additionally, the first picture shows how careful Sarah is with her approach. She wants to show how much she likes his play but also doesn't want to interrupt him in any way, so she touches him only slowly by placing her hands really careful and gentle on his shoulders. So that he knows about her sudden presence behind him but it's not meant to disrupt his train of thought (his LED is still yellow cuz he's thinking about how to finish the piece he's playing).)
I made the first comic with a beta version of his nude appearance but here I finally used the finished shape for his cock and the final textures for body and hands. Depending on the light in the maps, however, I sometimes have issues with head and body having different colors and that really sucks. Thankfully, it doesn't happen all the time but when it does, it's really obvious and I haven't found a way to prevent or at least change that.
The difference in color between body and genitals is correct! I had to google on xHamster and other porn sites for anything that would help me create a believable color shading for Markus' cock and balls. He's designed with a biracial appearance and even though I had a Turkish and a Vietnamese boyfriend once, that's definitely not the same.
And, after finding the actor's uncensored nude pics online, I was finally able to shape Markus' erection (and the flaccid version) as it's supposed to look like. I've already written in one blog entry that the actor who played this android has a really big cock so I haven't added too much growth to the erection. Simply because I wanted to walk the middle path between just getting hard (without additional growth) and ending up with a horsecock-sized dick.
Don't be fooled by the pics, he's really big; not only long but thick as well. So big, in fact, that I can't pose her sucking him off properly without making Sarah look as if she's had her jaw unhinged like a snake in the middle of it's lunch. >_<
That's the downside of being so impressively build, I guess.
I really don't know if people reading the first comic noticed but I wanted to distinguish the ragdoll of Markus from the ingame version of him from D:BH. Simply because I'm not really comfortable with the fact that the android was made in the image of a real person. So I came up with facial expressions and lip movements for talking that are different from those in the game.
That's fully intended, and it also helped me a lot to turn the android Markus into a unique character - just like he's supposed to be.
story no 4 - Pool Play
The comic features two threesome stories but only one is a bisexual threesome, with Markus and Connor kissing and touching each other.
Personally, I'm on the fence about Markus being with another man. The kissing looks good but I'm not really into him sucking cock. I did my best to make it look sexy and believable, and for that I had to rework the pics in photoshop for days in the end.
I'm going to pose the anal sex for the gay short story I'm working on today/tomorrow and I really hope that it's gonna look good.
However, with Connor not being my type and no other decent male character from D:BH being available as a ragdoll for Gmod, this gonna mean that M/M content won't be done often.
I have Hank and Chloe but their hair/eyebrows and Hanks beard are looking really fucked up and weird in Gmod. So I won't use them before trying to fix their hair.
The epilogue contains a surprise - as in: I never did this kind of stuff before and tried my hand on another kind of threesome for the very first time. And, color me surprised, it looks really good!!!
story no 5 - Painting 101
I'm still busy making poses for this one so I'm gonna show just this pic, with both androids about to start making out.
